Patum Peperium ‘The Gentleman’s Relish’

A fine pair of vintage relish pots.

Patum Peperium was invented in 1828 by John Osborn, when he was living in Paris and has been part of British Heritage for over 190 years.  For the 170th anniversary, it as decided that the range would expand beyond anchovies to include a Poacher’s Relish (Salmon).
