When you spend as much time in the field as we do here at Kugae Gundogs, you quickly realise how important it is to have a bag that's strong, practical and comfortable enough to carry all day.

Whether we're out on a walked-up shooting day or training dogs, we need something that carries everything we need without being bulky, rigid or getting in the way. That's why we developed our own Kugae Canvas Game & Dog Training Bag.

Lightweight, Flexible & Comfortable

One of the things that was particularly important to us was keeping the bag lightweight and supple.

Rather than sitting rigidly against you, the canvas moulds naturally to the body, making it comfortable to carry for long periods. That's particularly useful when you're walking over ground, working gun dogs or shooting, when you need to be able to move freely without your bag constantly slipping or getting in the way.

Despite being lightweight, we've made sure the construction is strong enough for regular use in the field.

Designed for Practical Use

The bag is made from durable canvas with PVC piping around the edges for additional strength and protection.

We've deliberately used strong metal buckles, clips and fittings rather than plastic, together with a robust adjustable carrying strap.

Inside there are three separate compartments, giving you plenty of room to organise game, dog-training equipment and other essentials.

There's also a dedicated cartridge holder, which doesn't have to be used just for cartridges. When we're dog training, for example, it's a useful place to keep a spare whistle or other small pieces of equipment close to hand.

A Proper Gundog Training Bag

Although traditionally styled as a game bag, we've designed this to be just as useful for everyday gundog training.

It will take multiple training dummies of different sizes and, when using our lightweight dummies, it can comfortably carry around 20 dummies in the bag.

That gives you enough equipment for a substantial training session without having to keep returning to the vehicle.

There's also plenty of room for leads, balls, whistles and the other bits and pieces that inevitably come with a day of dog training.

Easy to Clean

We know what happens to equipment that's regularly used in the field, so practicality doesn't stop with carrying capacity.

The bag has a nylon-lined interior, making it easy to wipe down with a cloth after use. The materials are washable and quick to dry, helping make the bag suitable for regular, year-round use.

Folds Away When You're Finished

Another advantage of the lightweight, flexible construction is that the bag isn't unnecessarily bulky.

When it's not being used, it can be folded down surprisingly small, making it easy to store beside a car seat, in a vehicle drawer system or with the rest of your training equipment.
