The Kugae Pheasant Body Dummy was developed after seeing smaller gundogs, particularly Cocker and Springer Spaniels, struggle to get a confident hold of full-sized cock pheasants in the field.
Made larger and softer than a traditional dummy, it is designed to replicate the bulk and feel of a game bird, encouraging dogs to take a full, confident hold rather than carrying by the wing or neck.
At 1lb, it's an ideal introduction to heavier retrieves without adding too much weight too soon, helping dogs build confidence while maintaining a clean pick-up, carry and delivery.
Made from high-quality, water-resistant canvas with a strong throwing toggle.
